Tattersalls has joined forces with Australian company Sirecam to make an exclusive offer to consignors with yearlings catalogued in Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale. For a fee of £75* per yearling, Sirecam will create a professionally edited 30 second online video including scripted audio commentary (view sample vision at www.tattersalls.com ) which will be hosted on the Tattersalls and Sirecam websites prior to the sale.
In addition Sirecam will also provide you with 25 DVD’s of your consignment for you to distribute as you see fit. The special offer of £75* per lot applies only to yearlings in Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and has been subsidised by Tattersalls. (Usual price is £200*).
Sirecam will also be providing the service to consignors at Books 2-4 at an introductory rate of £150* per lot.
The Sirecam product has already proven to be extremely popular in Australia and New Zealand where it averages 90,000 unique viewers per sale and approximately 75% of yearlings at the major sales available are filmed by Sirecam. We believe that this innovation will provide both purchasers and consignors with an additional aid in buying and selling yearlings.
Sirecam use specialist staff to film the yearlings and typically would hope to film the video approximately 4 weeks before the sale. The videos will be posted on the Tattersalls website a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the sale. Sirecam will be filming all of the major sales for Tattersalls this year. Tattersalls, Europe's leading bloodstock auctioneers, is to be the first Northern Hemisphere sale company to introduce pre - sale online videos of yearlings. Tattersalls has teamed up with Australian online video company ‘Sirecam' in an exclusive agreement to feature yearlings catalogued in Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, sponsored by Betfair. At a special introductory rate of £75.00 per lot each yearling will have a 30 second online video which will be posted on the Tattersalls website and the 'Sirecam' website at least 2 weeks prior to the start of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, which can be viewed free of charge by potential buyers throughout the world.

Melbourne - based 'Sirecam' has specialised in filming in all areas of the thoroughbred industry, including yearlings, stallions, foals, two year olds and breeding stock for the past five years in Australasia. In 2008 'Sirecam' filmed 75% of lots catalogued at the William Inglis and Son, Magic Millions, and New Zealand Bloodstock Yearling Sales and averaged 90,000 unique online viewers per sale. The exclusive arrangement to feature yearlings from Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale is the first such venture in the Northern Hemisphere.
