The Charlie Appleby-trained CHASING DREAMS ran out an emphatic winner of the British EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes at Newmarket and signalled her Royal Ascot credentials in the process. The daughter of STARSPANGLEDBANNER won the second £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus for the year, winning a total of £38,969 for her victory with a Plus 10 Bonus of £7,500 and prize money of £6,469. CHASING DREAMS was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for 750,000 guineas by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock on behalf of Godolphin and from the draft of New England Stud. A total of 136 Book 1 Bonus prizes have been won in total for a total payout of £3,400,000.
