The Roger Varian trained EXOPLANET was a smart winner of the EBF Novice Stakes at Newbury, collecting the 302nd £20,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus and earning a total of £25,400 for his owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum. The SEA THE STARS colt is out of GUMRIYAH, a half-sister to Champion three-year-old filly LEGATISSIMO, and was bought for 260,000 guineas by Varian at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale from the draft of Whatton Manor Stud.
