The Matthew Smith trained FIERCE IMPACT provided a timely reminder of the quality and value to be found at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale when he won the Group 1 Toorak Handicap at Caulfield on Saturday. Connections of the son of DEEP IMPACT may now head for the Group 1 Cox Plate following his authoritative win from a wide barrier on Saturday.

FIERCE IMPACT was purchased at the 2017 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale by Matthew Smith Racing for 120,000 guineas, from the draft of Jamie Railton. He is one of 103 individual Group/Listed winners since 2016 from the sale which is the world’s largest horses in training sale.

The Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale takes place from October 28 – 31. Catalogues are out now and available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives and online at www.tattersalls.com.
