Gimcrack winner LAKE FOREST looks set to be amongst the highlights of the five-day Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale which takes place Monday 23rd to Friday 27th October. The world’s largest horses in training sale numbers 1,750 lots and can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com.

LAKE FOREST is one of the top two-year-old colts in training with an official rating of 109, the William Haggas trained son of NO NAY NEVER made a winning debut at Haydock before finishing an eye-catching second in the Group 2 July Stakes. His most recent start saw him run out a ready winner of the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes at York and he’s entered to run in this weekend’s Group 1 Middle Park Stakes on Newmarket’s Rowley Mile.

Other two-year-olds sure to catch the eye of potential purchasers include LOOSE CANNON, a son of TERRITORIES also trained by William Haggas who won on debut at York before finishing third in the Group 3 Tattersalls Acomb Stakes, and SEVEN QUESTIONS, the winning George Scott trained son of KODIAC who finished a close second in the Group 3 Sirenia Stakes before a fast-finishing third in the Group 2 Mill Reef on his latest start.

Group 1 Criterium International winner PROUD AND REGAL heads a strong draft from Coolmore to be offered at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale. A stellar two-year-old campaign saw the GALILEO colt win the Group 3 Tyros Stakes before placing in the Group 2 Futurity Stakes, Group 1 National Stakes before ending his season on a high with Group 1 victory at Saint-Cloud. BROADHURST is another three-year-old to note, a 115p Timeform rated NO NAY NEVER colt who came from last to first in fantastic fashion to win at Leopardstown on Irish Champions Weekend. Also amongst the draft of 53 to be offered by Coolmore are the three-year-olds HIAWATHA, a CAMELOT own-brother to multiple Group 1 winner LUXEMBOURG who was last seen finishing second in the Group 3 Eyrefield Stakes, AESOP’S FABLES, a NO NAY NEVER colt who won the Group 2 Futurity Stakes, as well as the four-year-old AUSTRALIA colt POINT LONSDALE, a multiple Group winner who was also placed in both the Group 1 National Stakes and Group 1 Coronation Cup.

The Juddmonte Farms consignment is always a highlight of the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale. Selling on Wednesday 25th October, the 20-lot draft includes the unexposed, exciting three-year-old colts GREEK ORDER, rated 108p by Timeform and favourite for the Cambridgeshire after an impressive last time out victory, and BRAVAIS, a FRANKEL colt out of the Lowther winner LUCKY KRISTALE who finished third in the Group 2 Prix Niel behind Deutsches Derby winner FANTASTIC MOON and Grand Prix de Paris winner FEED THE FLAME at his most recent start.

The largest consignment will be offered by the Castlebridge Consignment who are set to offer 240 horses in training, including the high-class Group winners AUDIENCE, MASHHOOR and LORD MASSUSUS, followed by Jamie Railton with 132, Baroda Stud with 107, Barton Sales with 78 and Dullingham Park with 44. There is also a 37-lot draft set to be offered by Godolphin, including the multiple Listed winner PARCHEMIN.

The largest trainer’s consignment is the 52-strong team from Andrew Balding’s Park House Stables which includes SPANISH PHOENIX, officially rated 100 and last seen coming home strongly to finish fourth in the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes, whilst Charlie Johnston’s Kingsley Park has 40 lots catalogued.
