Tattersalls yearlings recorded a memorable Group 1 double at the World Cup meeting at Meydan, with PRESVIS winning the $5,000,000 Group 1 Dubai Duty Free and REWILDING winning the $5,000,000 Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic.

The Luca Cumani trained PRESVIS broke through for a well deserved win in the Group 1 Dubai Duty Free at his third attempt at the race, having been second in 2009. The son of SAKHEE benefitted from a sublime Ryan Moore ride to record a memorable win for owner Leonidas Marinopoulos, taking his lifetime earnings to £3,000,000. PRESVIS was purchased at the 2005 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 2 for 30,000 guineas by Amanda Skiffington from Kirtlington Stud, having been purchased at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale for 15,000 guineas by Will Edmeades from breeder Mette Campbell-Andenaes.

Godolphin’s REWILDING made it a Group 1 double for Tattersalls when running out a ready winner of the Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic. The son of TIGER HILL, who finished third in the Derby last year, showed that he had improved over the winter with an emphatic win over REDWOOD under Frankie Dettori. REWILDING is a graduate of Book 1 of the 2008 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale where he was bought by John Ferguson for 500,000 guineas from Watership Down Stud. REWILDING was emulating his half-sister DAR RE MI who was successful in this race last year.

The next sale at Tattersalls is the Craven Breeze Up Sale which takes place from April 12 – 14
