Eight wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale that takes place from Monday, October 29 until Thursday, November 1.  Headed by the Group 3 winning three-year-old CHILEAN, all eight wildcards are due to go through the ring on Tuesday, October 30.

Catalogued as Lot 729A, the Martyn Meade-trained colt CHILEAN won the Listed Ascendant Stakes over a mile at two and trained on to win the Group 3 Prix La Force at Longchamp first time out at three, leaving the subsequent French Derby winner STUDY OF MAN in his wake.  The highly-rated son of IFFRAAJ is out of the Listed winning mare CHILDA and has been placed fourth in a further two Group 3 races this season, holding a Timeform rating of 106.

Tony Carroll’s Mill House Racing consigns the hugely consistent RED ALERT, a winner or placed on 15 of his 24 starts.  Catalogued as Lot 674A, the four-year-old gelding has won on his two most recent outings, both at Bath over five and a half furlongs, and carries a Timeform rating of 91.

Also adding to the impressive pack of Wildcards heading to the Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale is Lot 674B, the Michael Byrne-trained two-year-old filly GALTEE MIST.  The daughter of GALE FORCE TEN is a sister to three winners, including the Listed placed SO HI SOCIETY, and was a notable runner up in a competitive Maiden at Naas last week, gaining a Timeform rating of 79+ in the process.

Another exciting two-year-old to be offered as a Wildcard is THE COTSWOLD WASP, catalogued as Lot 674C.  John Quinn’s Bellwood Cottage Stables consigns the improving son of SWISS SPIRIT who broke his Maiden last time out at Catterick over five furlongs.  Timeform-rated 84p, the bay colt is a half-brother to three winners including the Listed placed MELISSA JANE.

Lot 674D is the Joseph O’Brien-trained two-year-old TENAX, placed on all but one of his five outings and an impressive winner of his Maiden over five furlongs at Tipperary.  The well-related son of SLADE POWER is a half-brother to five winners including Listed winners SKAGEN and SCOVILLE.  TENAX has a Timeform rating of 85.

SIR BUSKER is another two-year-old Wildcard that boasts great potential.  Missing the frame only once in his four starts, the William Knight-trained son of SIR PRANCELOT won his Maiden over six furlongs at Newbury and is Timeform-rated 89.  Catalogued as Lot 729B, the bay colt is from the family of multiple Group 1 winner GOLDEN APPLES.

Lot 729C is the Gordon Elliot-trained two-year-old ARISTOCRATIC MAN, second in a competitive Maiden at Listowel last time out finding only the subsequent Group 2 Beresford Stakes winner JAPAN too good.   The son of DANDY MAN has a Timeform rating of 83p.

The Archie Watson-trained SHOWOUT completes the sextet of exciting two-year-olds to be offered as Wildcards at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale.  Catalogued as Lot 729D, the son of SHOWCASING has won twice over six furlongs and placed fourth in the Group 3 Prix Eclipse at Maison-Laffitte and most recently second in the Listed Prix Zeddaan at Deauville.  SHOWOUT is Timeform-rated 98.

The Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale begins at 9.30am on Monday, October 29.  Catalogues can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com and available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives.
