The 72 lot October Yearling Sale Book 4 saw 45 lots sell for 181,300 guineas at an average of 4,029 guineas and a median 2,200 guineas.

Topping the trade which saw a 77% clearance rate was the PACO BOY colt out of the EXCEED AND EXCEL mare MISS EXCEL who was knocked down to Darren Popely for 18,000 guineas.

"We went to see a Bahamian Bounty filly and this colt was out of his stables - we saw him and liked him," said Popely of the Follow The Flag Partnership.

"He is a lovely horse, and out of an Exceed And Excel mare, so should have some speed."
