Tattersalls has catalogued 1,677 lots for the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, which takes place Monday 26th to Thursday 29th October. The world’s largest sale of horses in training sale features more than 100 Group/Listed performers including 2013 Group 1 German Derby winner LUCKY SPEED, recent Group 2 Doncaster Cup winner PALLASATOR and exciting Group 3 winning and Group 1 placed two year old FINAL FRONTIER.

Trained in Germany by Peter Schiergen, the five year old entire LUCKY SPEED is a Group 1 performer on both sides of the Atlantic. Having won the Group 1 German Derby in 2013, the son of SILVANO was third in last year’s Group 1 Grosser Preis von Berlin and fourth on his last start in the Grade 1 Northern Dancer Stakes at Woodbine having previously won the Grade 3 American St Leger at Arlington Park.

The giant six year old PALLASATOR is another high class performer boasting smart recent form. The lightly raced Qatar Racing owned gelding beat a high class field of stayers in the recent Group 2 Doncaster Cup and has won six of his 16 starts and more than £200,000 in prize money to date.

The highest rated two year old in the catalogue is the Jessica Harrington trained FINAL FRONTIER, who boasts an official rating of 109 after only three starts. The son of DREAM AHEAD followed a hugely impressive 4 1/2 length Curragh maiden win with a smooth win in the 6 furlong Group 3 Anglesey Stakes, and was a then a highly creditable fourth in the Group 1 National Stakes over seven furlongs behind Europe’s top rated two year old AIR FORCE BLUE.

Other Group winners catalogued include Group 2 winners BLAINE, GLORY AWAITS, GREEN DOOR, KING TORUS and SUPPLICANT as well as Group 3 winners BURNT SUGAR, CHOPIN, CONVERGENCE, DUTCH MASTERPIECE, SMAIH and WANNABE YOURS.

The Juddmonte Farms consignment, always eagerly sought after by buyers from throughout the world, numbers 59 lots, with the majority of them rated over 80 by Timeform including six currently rated over 100. Of the 63 lots catalogued under Shadwell Stud, a further 30 are rated 80 or more by Timeform.
