The Luca Cumani trained POSTPONED broke through for a well deserved victory at the top level when winning the Group 1 King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot under jockey Andrea Atzeni.

The son of DUBAWI was bought for 360,000 guineas by agents Charlie Gordon-Watson and John Warren on behalf of owner Mohammed Obaid at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, having been consigned to the sale by Highclere Stud.

POSTPONED is one of eleven Group 1 winning graduates this year from the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale that has also included the 1,000 Guineas winner LEGATISSIMO and the Irish Derby winner JACK HOBBS, bought for just 60,000 guineas.

Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale takes place from October 6 – 8 and will feature the only yearlings eligible for the all-new Tattersalls October ‘Book 1 Bonus’ which offers a £25,000 bonus to any two-year-old graduate who wins a Class 2, 3 or 4 Maiden in Great Britain or an ‘Open’ Maiden in Ireland.
