Tattersalls has a repository facility for x-rays which is in operation for all sales. The facility, which allows vendors to lodge x-rays applicable to the sale of their horses, is located to the rear of Somerville Paddock, Row T at Park Paddocks.
The lodgement of x-rays in the repository is voluntary and entirely at the option of the vendor, whilst only licenced and approved veterinarians are allowed to view the x-rays deposited within it. Consignors can have a text sent to their mobiles which gives the lot number, time of viewing and name of the veterinarian who viewed the lot and there is also a facility within the repository where vendors can then find out on whose behalf their lots have been viewed.
The repository will be open 2 days prior to the first day of a sale (3 days before the October Yearling Sale) and will be open between 8am and 5pm on pre-sale days and until the end of selling on sale days.
