The filly who is out of a daughter of the Listed winner SOVINISTA was consigned from Nicky Hartery's Caherass Stud in Ireland.
In 1999 BECKETT topped the Tattersalls Houghton Yearling Sale at 1,700,000
guineas before going on to win the Group 1 National Stakes at the
Curragh and he hit the heights again at Tattersalls, this time as
the sire of the second highest priced lot of the day. Lot 1896, the
chesnut colt by BECKETT out of the THORN DANCE mare DATE MATE topped
proceeding's at 22,000 guineas for consignor Jamie Railton. DATE

and Champion Italian two year old, LE VIE DE COLORI. Locally based
bloodstock agent Linda Tate was underbidder on the colt who was purchased
by Peter Doyle Bloodstock and will go into training with Richard
Hannon at his East Everleigh Stables in Wiltshire.
The third highest priced lot of the day was the 21,000 guineas paid
by Whitsbury based trainer David Elsworth for lot 1932, the chesnut
filly by PURSUIT OF LOVE out of the NOMINATION mare IMPULSIVE DECISION.
The filly, consigned from Charlock Stud, recieved a significant catalogue
update when her half brother CAMMIE'S FUTURE finished second in the
Listed Prix de la Vallee d'Auge at Deauville, whilst Elsworth has
enjoyed a successful week, having won yesterday's £100,000
Tattersalls Autumn Auction Stakes with CAPE COLUMBINE, a 33,000 guineas
purchase at this sale last year.
Another lot whose pedigree had been upgraded significantly since the
publication of the catalogue was lot 1918, the bay filly by OVERBURY
out of the AL HAREB mare GAGAJULU. The filly's half brother OBE GOLD
won the Listed Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar before finishing a gallant
second to the aforementioned CAPE COLUMBINE yesterday. Consigned from
Richard Kent's Helshaw Grange Stud, the filly was purchased by the
Curragh Bloodstock Agency.
