Catalogued as lot 1469, the bay colt by KHELEYF out of the TITUS LIVIUS mare LIVIUS LADY was knocked down to Italian agent Marco Bozzi for 72,000 guineas after he saw off the efforts of Rabbah Bloodstock’s Jono Mills. Yearlings by the son of GREEN DESERT have been in great demand this sales season following his first crop of runners which have included the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes runner-up SAYIF and the Group 3 winner PERCOLATOR. Consigned from Peter Stanley’s New England Stud, on behalf of Susan Hearn’s Mascalls Stud, the sale represented a massive pinhooking result, with Hearns having purchased the colt for a mere 10,500 guineas at this year’s Tattersalls February Sale.

Rabbah Bloodstock later secured lot 1701, the own-brother to Group 1 Nassau Stakes winner FAVOURABLE TERMS for 55,000 guineas. Consigned from Voute Sales, the bay colt by SELKIRK out of the Listed winning PRIVATE ACCOUNT mare FATEFULLY was knocked down to Jono Mills on behalf of Dubai based owner Saeed Manana and looks set to go into training in Newmarket.

A couple of lots later Gill Richardson withstood the efforts of Dermot Farrington to secure lot 1703 for 60,000 guineas. The bay colt from the first crop of six-time Group 1 winner RAKTI, out of the SRI PEKAN mare FEATHER BOA was consigned to the sale by agent Jamie Railton on behalf Corner Farm Stud’s Patrick Milmo and Jeremy Gompertz. Richardson indicated that the colt would go into training with Mick Channon at his West Ilsley base in Berkshire.
