Top Class Tattersalls December Yearling Sale Catalogue Now Online

The catalogue for the 2025 Tattersalls December Yearling Sale is out now and can be viewed at www.tattersalls.com. Numbering 200 lots, the December Yearling Sale will take place on Monday, 24th November.

The catalogue features 10 own or half siblings to Group 1 winners led by the own-brother to European Champion Older Mare EMILY UPJOHN, the own-brother to joint European Champion Three-Year-Old SEA OF CLASS and the half-sister to dual Group 1 winner DREAMLOPER, all by SEA THE STARS. The sire of Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner DARYZ is also represented by a filly out of a half-sister to Champions BAAEED and HUKUM, both by SEA THE STARS.

They will be joined by half-sisters to Irish Oaks winner YOU GOT TO ME, Phoenix Stakes winner DICK WHITTINGTON and Melbourne Cup winner CROSS COUNTER by PINATUBO, ACLAIM and CRACKSMAN respectively, as well as KINGMAN half-brothers to Group 1 winning fillies PEARLS GALORE and JANNAH ROSE.

In total there are own or half brothers and sisters to 75 Group and Listed winners catalogued and 38 yearlings out of Group and Listed winning dams, including the FRANKEL filly out of the Grade 1 E P Taylor Stakes winner BLOND ME, the PINATUBO filly out of Irish 1000 Guineas winner PLEASCACH and the MOHAATHER colt out of TAGHROODA, European Champion Three-Year-Old Filly and the dam of Group 2 winner ISRAR.

Buyers looking for future winners of valuable Tattersalls bonuses and auction races will not be short of choice with 17 yearlings eligible for the ever popular £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus Scheme and 16 yearlings eligible for the £200,000 Tattersalls Somerville Auction Stakes and the £200,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes, both to be run for minimum prize money of £200,000 each in 2026. The catalogue also features 41 fillies already entered for the Great British Bonus and three lots qualified for French Owners’ Premiums.

The top ten active sires in Europe are well represented with BLUE POINT, DARK ANGEL, DUBAWI, FRANKEL, HAVANA GREY, KINGMAN, LOPE DE VEGA, MEHMAS, NIGHT OF THUNDER, NO NAY NEVER, SEA THE STARS and WOOTTON BASSETT having a total of 47 yearlings catalogued between them. Exciting first crop sires are also well represented including Group 1 and Classic winners BAAEED, BAYSIDE BOY, BLACKBEARD, MINZAAL, PERFECT POWER, PERSIAN FORCE and STATE OF REST.
