Listed Winning Two-Year-Old Pintara & Group 1 Producer Wouldntitbelovely Added to the Tattersalls December Mares Sale

Hugely exciting filly PINTARA and Group 1 producing broodmare WOULDNTITBELOVELY have been added as wildcard lots to the Sceptre Sessions of the upcoming Tattersalls December Mares Sale, joining an outstanding collection of fillies and mares catalogued for Europe’s premier breeding stock sale which will take place Monday 1st December to Wednesday 3rd December.

Pintara coming clear in the Listed Montrose Fillies’ Stakes at Newmarket

Unbeaten two-year-old PINTARA forged three and a half lengths clear of a competitive ten runner field in the Listed Montrose Fillies’ Stakes at Newmarket, earning a Timeform rating of 101p. Past winners of the race include subsequent Group 1 winners TIMEPIECE, PASSAGE OF TIME, RAJEEM and the dual Classic winner BLUE BUNTING. The Listed victory was PINTARA’s second start and second victory, following an impressive debut at Salisbury on good to firm going in August for trainer Ralph Beckett and owners Ballylinch Stud & The Partners.

Consigned by Imperium Sales, PINTARA is by three-time Group 1 winner PINATUBO, a son of outstanding sire and broodmare sire SHAMARDAL, out of the multiple black type performer ABILENE. ABILENE is a half-sister to the Group 1 Prix du Moulin runner up AKATEA and has already produced the Group 2 Italian Derby runner up JUAN DE MONTALBAN and the 101 rated filly OXFORD COMMA.

Powerful Glory winning the Group 1 British Champions Sprint

Joining her in the Sceptre Sessions on Tuesday is nine-year-old mare WOULDNTITBELOVELY, the dam of Group 1 British Champions Sprint winner POWERFUL GLORY who defeated top sprinter LAZZAT on just his fifth start in the season finale earning a Timeform rating of 120. The daughter of KODIAC will be offered in foal to Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup winning sprinter BIG EVS, a son of leading young stallion BLUE POINT, and will be consigned by Amy Marnane Bloodstock.

WOULDNTITBELOVELY is from a top-class sprinting family, her dam GEHT FASTEUR is a half-sister to multiple Listed winner and Group performer RUBY ROCKET, the dam of Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye and Group 2 British Champions Sprint winner MAAREK, and a half-sister to the dam of Group 2 Flying Childers winning sire ARDAD.

As well as the two Sceptre Sessions additions, four wildcard lots have been added to the December Mares Sale on Monday led by ADRIFT, a half-sister to the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner BALANTINA and to the Group 3 winning filly BAIYKARA. The three-year-old daughter of NEW BAY will be consigned by Ballylinch Stud.

Another well-related filly added to the catalogue is THRESHOLD, an impressive winner at Kempton last week on her second start for trainer Marco Botti and Newsells Park Stud who will consign the promising three-year-old, whose feat is made more impressive by her December foaling date. Timeform rated 82p, the daughter of NATHANIEL is out of a black type half-sister to the Group 1 Nassau Stakes winner LADY BOWTHORPE, also by NATHANIEL.

Joining them will be the Listed winner and Group 3 placed TRAISHA, a daughter of INVINCIBLE SPIRIT from the family of Group 3 Park Stakes winner and excellent producer MY TITANIA who will be offered by The Castlebridge Consignment in foal to Group 1 Champion Stakes winner KING OF STEEL.

The final wildcard lot is KOMEDY KICKS, the half-sister to this year’s Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes winner and Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks third GARDEN OF EDEN. The daughter of GALILEO’s dual Guineas winning son CHURCHILL will be consigned by Salcey Forest Stud and is also a half-sister to the multiple black type two-year-old INTERNATIONALDREAM.
