The catalogue for the Tattersalls February Sale can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com and will be published on Wednesday 21st January.Comprising 106 fillies and mares in/out of training, 16 broodmares, 161 colts and geldings in/out of training, 15 yearlings and nine two-year-olds, the catalogue features high class consignments from leading owner-breeders Godolphin, Juddmonte, Shadwell Estate Company and Cheveley Park Stud, and lots on offer from leading British trainers including Andrew Balding, William Haggas, Richard Hannon, Charlie Johnston and Ed Walker.Eye-catchers among the broodmares catalogued include Brazilian Group 1 winner NAMASSE who will be offered in foal to CRACKSMAN on a Southern Hemisphere cover by Consign Ltd., and the Whatton Manor Stud consigned SOFT COVER, a SHAMARDAL granddaughter of Champion filly SUPERSTAR LEO who will be offered in foal to Champion first season sire STARMAN. Other covering stallions represented include exciting young sires CHALDEAN, SHAQUILLE, PALACE PIER, PERFECT POWER, TRIPLE TIME and VANDEEK as well as proven Group 1 producers COTAI GLORY, KODIAC and SERGEI PROKOFIEV.Fillies and mares from the Godolphin consignment are always eagerly sought after and this year’s draft is led by the beautifully bred JOYFUL ACT, a FRANKEL daughter of dual Classic winner BLUE BUNTING.
