11 Feb 2026 Share on X Share on Facebook Tattersalls Extend Sponsorship of Middle Park Stakes, Cheveley Park Stakes and Royal Lodge Stakes 2025 Group 1 Tattersalls MIddle Park Stakes winner Wise Approach was bought by Godolphin for 1,000,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling SaleTattersalls, Europe’s leading bloodstock auctioneers, and Newmarket Racecourses are delighted to announce that Tattersalls will extend its sponsorship of the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes, the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes and Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes for a further two years after sponsoring the races for the first time in 2025.The three two-year-old Group races will be run on Saturday, 26th September on the final day of the prestigious Cambridgeshire meeting at the ‘Home of Horseracing’.The three races add to an already substantial portfolio of sponsorships for Europe’s leading bloodstock auctioneers, with other high-profile sponsorships at Newmarket including the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes, the Group 3 Tattersalls Stakes, the £200,000 Tattersalls Somerville Auction Stakes and the £200,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes.The races will be run as the Group 1 Tattersalls Middle Park Stakes, the Group 1 Tattersalls Sceptre Sessions Cheveley Park Stakes and the Group 2 Tattersalls Online Royal Lodge Stakes.Matthew Prior, Tattersalls Managing Director said:“Tattersalls are delighted to extend our sponsorship of the prestigious Middle Park, Cheveley Park and Royal Lodge Stakes on Cambridgeshire day for a further two years and continue our long-standing support of British racing and Newmarket Racecourses.“Cambridgeshire day is a standout fixture in the British racing calendar and we look forward to an outstanding programme of two-year-old races of the highest calibre and to working with Newmarket Racecourses to showcase the event.”Sophie Able, Newmarket Racecourses and International Director at The Jockey Club, said:“The bond between Newmarket Racecourses and Tattersalls has always been strong and in recent years has truly blossomed.
