The Hugo Palmer-trained ALMUFTI was an impressive winner of the British EBF Novice Stakes at Kempton where he also won the 118th Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus. The son of TORONADO earned a total of £30,822 for owners Al Shaqab Racing who bought him for 120,000 guineas at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale. Tally Ho Stud consigned ALMUFTI as a yearling, who is out of the Italian mare GREEN TERN and a half brother to seven winners including three Listed winners in Italy. The £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus is only for graduates of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. This year’s sale takes place from October 9 – 11.
