BARTON MILLS became the 79th winner of a Tattersalls £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus when running out a ready winner of the 32Red.com Novice Stakes at Kempton last night. The William Haggas-trained two-year-old earned his owner Abdulla Al Mansoori a total of £37,028 when prize money of £4,528 and a Plus 10 Bonus of £7,500 are added to the £25,000 Book 1 Bonus.
BARTON MILLS is a full-brother to the Group 1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere winner and sire WOOTTON BASSETT. He was initially bought at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale for 42,000 guineas by Rabbah Bloodstock before being bought back at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale for 95,000 guineas when consigned by Genesis Green Stud.
The £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus is exclusively for horses bought at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale which takes place October 3rd – 5th.
