The Ralph Beckett trained BELLE DIVA became the 30th winner of a £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus with a comfortable success in Division 2 of the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes at Kempton.
Owned by Qatar Racing Limited and the China Horse Club, BELLE DIVA was purchased for 180,000 guineas and won £36,770 for winning her maiden. By DARK ANGEL out of RED INTRIGUE, BELLE DIVA was consigned by Jamie Railton who has 15 yearlings catalogued for Book 1 of the forthcoming October Yearling Sale. BELLE DIVA is the third £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus winner either wholly or partly owned by Qatar Racing, with Group 3 Solario Stakes winner and leading Group 1 Dewhurst contender SOUTH SEAS landing his bonus back in July.
Commenting on the win, Qatar Racing’s manager David Redvers said;
“The Book 1 Bonus is a great scheme for owners at all levels and we’ll be looking for more at Book 1 in a couple of weeks time.”
Book 1 of the 2016 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale takes place October 4th – 6th.
