The Charlie Fellowes-trained Groundbreaker won a £20,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus when taking out the Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Newmarket collecting £24,320 for his owner Doug King. The filly is a half-sister to the Listed winners Lamar and Haddaf and was purchased by agent Will Douglass for 200,000 gns on behalf of King’s Crispin Estates at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale.
