The Ger Lyon’s trained EXCELCIUS became the 133rd winner of a £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus when winning the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Dundalk and collecting €46,848 in the process for his owners David Spratt and Sean Jones.
EXCELCIUS was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for 110,000 guineas by Phil Burns’ Gaelic Bloodstock.
