William Haggas-trained EXECUTIVE FORCE became the 26th winner of a Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus when victorious in the Thatcham Butchers EBF Stallions Maiden Stakes at Newbury. The smart son of Darley’s first season sire SEPOY picked up a total of £37,675 on debut for his owner Markus Jooste, made up of £5,175 in prize money, £7,500 from the Plus 10 Bonus Scheme and £25,000 from the Book 1 Bonus.
The first time out maiden winner is a son of Group 3 winning CAPE CROSS mare MAZUNA and was bought at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Mayfair Speculators and Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock for 200,000 guineas from Genesis Green Stud. The UNIVERSAL half-sister to EXECUTIVE FORCE and to the Group 2 Middleton Stakes winner BEAUTIFUL ROMANCE is to be offered at Book 2 this year by Hillwood Stud as Lot 854.
