The Hugo Palmer-trained GULLIVER became the 34th winner of a Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus when breaking his maiden in the EBF Stallions Maiden Stakes at York. Owners Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar were rewarded with a total of £34,703 in prize money for their two-year-old’s victory.
The son of SAYIF is a half-brother to English and Irish 1,000 Guineas runner-up LIGHTNING THUNDER as well as yesterday’s Cesarewitch winner SWEET SELECTION. Consigned by Alun Douch, GULLIVER was bought by Tony Nerses for 50,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
