The James Bethell – trained HESSLEWOOD gave her owners an immediate return on the purchase price for the SLADE POWER colt after he collected a £25,000 Book 1 Bonus for his victory.
HESSLEWOOD was purchased by Bethell and SackvilleDonald Bloodstock for 35,000 guineas at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale which features the only eligible yearlings for the £25,000 Book 1 Bonus.
For his victory, HESSLEWOOD collect a total of £34,703 when prize money of £9,703 are included.
