Red Label became the 36th winner of a £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus when taking out the British Stallions Stud EBF Maiden Stakes at Leicester, leading home a Book 1 one-two-three. The son of DUBAWI also collected a Plus 10 bonus of £7,500 and prize money of £5,175 for a grand total of £37,675.
Red Label was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Jamie McCalmont for 375,000 guineas on behalf of the US based Jon Kelly. The Luca Cumani trained colt is out of the CAERLEON mare BORN SOMETHING, a Group-placed sister to the Group 1 winners GOLDIKOVA and GALIKOVA.
