The Charlie Appleby-trained SILVER KNOTT won a £20,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus when winning the EBF Novice Stakes at Kempton easily on his second start, collecting £25,346 for his owner Godolphin. The colt is the first foal of the Group 1 Prix Lydia Tesio winner GOD GIVEN, a half-sister to the four-time Group 1 winner POSTPONED. He was purchased by Godolphin for 725,000 gns from Whatton Manor Stud at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale. His DUBAWI half-brother will be offered as Lot 504 at this year’s Book 1 Sale.
