The daughter of EXCEED AND EXCEL will earn €49,375 for the victory after prizemoney of €10,147 and a Plus 10 Bonus of €9,375 are added to the £25,000 October ‘Bonus 1 Bonus’.
VELVETEEN was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for 50,000 guineas by David Redvers Bloodstock from the draft of Highclere Stud. Six of the ten winners of the £25,000 Book 1 Bonus thus far were bought for 80,000 guineas or less.
