The Richard Hannon-trained WARRIOR’S SPIRIT ran out an impressive winner of the Wedgewood Estates 2YO Maiden Stakes becoming the 28th winner of a £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus. With prize money of £5,175 and a Plus 10 Bonus of £7,500, WARRIOR’S SPIRIT collected £37,675 for his maiden victory.
WARRIOR’S SPIRIT was purchased for 100,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Peter and Ross Doyle Bloodstock from the draft of Camas Park Stud. 14 of the 28 winners thus far have cost 100,000 guineas or less.
