The son of Ballylinch Stud's LOPE DE VEGA earned a total of £29,528 for his owner Paul Makin, made up of prize money and the £25,000 Book 1 Bonus. Consigned at Book 1 by Oghill House Stud, JUST BRILLIANT is a half brother to G1 Racing Post Trophy winner MARCEL and was bought by Paul Makin for 150,000 guineas. The £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus is exclusively for horses bought at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
