The Aidan O’Brien trained Daytona became the 400th winner of a £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus when taking out the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Gowran Park. The son of Wootton Bassett earned his owners Tabor,Smith,Magnier,Westerberg,Branta total of €40,017 for his victory. Daytona was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for 500,000 gns by M V Magnier & White Birch Farm from New England Stud, having been bred by Charles Hanbury.
