Hankelow became the 14th winner of a £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus this year and the 405th overall when taking out the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Novice Stakes at York on Saturday. The son of Night of Thunder was winning on debut for trainer Karl Burke and owner Sheikh Mohamed Obaid Al Maktoum who collected his fourth £25,000 Book 1 Bonus this year. Hankelow was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for 750,000 guineas by Karl, Kelly, Lucy Burke from WH Bloodstock.
