A dominant performance from the Aidan O’Brien-trained MARCO POLO to shed his maidan tag in the Irish EBF (C & G) Maiden at Cork, which resulted in becoming the 463rd recipient of the £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus, collecting €42,063 in the process for owners Tabor, Smith, Magnier, Westerberg & Brant. The NIGHT OF THUNDER colt was purchased by M V Magnier & White Birch Farm for 525,000 guineas from The Castlebridge Consignment at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
