The catalogue for the Tattersalls December Foal Sale is online now at www.tattersalls.comand will be available in print on October 22nd. Numbering 1,175 lots, the December Foal Sale will take place Wednesday 28th November to Saturday 1st December.

Europe’s premier foal sale boasts an outstanding catalogue, with no less than 133 foals by the current top 10 active British and Irish sires and well over 200 by the current top 20, including ACCLAMATION, CAMELOT, DARK ANGEL, DUBAWI, FRANKEL, GALILEO, INVINCIBLE SPIRIT, KODIAC, LOPE DE VEGA, PIVOTAL and SEA THE STARS. The catalogue also features own and half brothers and sisters to almost 170 Group and Listed winners including the DUBAWI own/half brother to top class 2018 three year old GHAIYYATH and 2017 Grade 1 winner ZHUKOVA out of Irish 1000 Guineas winner NIGHTIME, and the GALILEO own sister to three time Group 1 winner DECORATED KNIGHT.

The Dispersal of the European based stock of Bobby Flay also includes three eye-catching foals by DARK ANGEL, INVINCIBLE SPIRIT and a FRANKEL colt out of the regally bred Stakes placed MONTJEU mare AULD ALLIANCE.

As ever, first crop sires feature prominently, with a total of 30 represented including Classic and Group 1 winners AWTAAD, BELARDO, BOBBY’S KITTEN, CHARMING THOUGHT, FASCINATING ROCK, HARZAND, HUNTER’S LIGHT, MARCEL, NEW BAY, PRIDE OF DUBAI, THE GURKHA, THE LAST LION, TWILIGHT SON and VADAMOS.

USA and French based sires also feature prominently with established Group 1 sires BERNARDINI, ELUSIVE QULAITY, KENDARGENT, KITTEN’S JOY, LE HAVRE, TEMPLE CITY, WOOTTON BASSETT and WAR FRONT all well represented alongside first crop sires AIR FORCE BLUE, DARIYAN, FLINTSHIRE, SHALAA and VANCOUVER.

The largest consignment is the team of 51 foals coming from Paul and Sara Thorman’s Trickledown Stud, closely followed by the 45 to come from The Castlebridge Consignment. Minster Stud, which topped the 2017 December Foal Sale with the DUBAWI half brother to JACK HOBBS, has a team of six including the GOLDEN HORN half brother to last year’s outstanding sale topper.
