Boerhan Wins 103rd £25,000 Book 1 Bonus and Earns £37,287

The William Haggas trained BOERHAN won the 103rd £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus when taking out the Don Deadman Memorial EBF Maiden Stakes at Newbury today. The son of SEA THE STARS dead-heated but still collects the £25,000 bonus along with a Plus 10 Bonus of £7,500 and prize money of £4,787 for owner Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum.

BOERHAN was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for 270,000 guineas by Shadwell Estates. The £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus is only for graduates of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. This year’s sale takes place from October 9 – 11.
