Chablis Wins 130th Book 1 Bonus and Earns 45,110 Euros

The Aidan O’Brien-trained CHABLIS was an eye-catching winner on debut of the Fillies Maiden at Gowran Park this afternoon when also becoming the 130th winner of a Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus. The well-related daughter of GALILEO earned a total of 45,110 Euros for her owners Mrs John Magnier and John C Oxley following her maiden win.

CHABLIS is out of the Group 1 Prix Saint-Alary winning mare VADAWINA, now the dam of seven winners from seven runners including the Group 3 Tyros Stakes winner THE PENTAGON and Group 2 Prix du Conseil winner VADAMAR. Consigned by Barronstown Stud, the bay filly was purchased by Justin Casse at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale for 1,550,000 guineas.
