Charlie’s Cannon Added as a Wildcard to the Tattersalls July Sale

Impressive debut winner CHARLIE’S CANNON is the latest addition to the Tattersalls July Sale, set to be offered by Jamie Railton as lot 504G on Wednesday 8th July. 

The three-year-old son of NEW BAY put up a commanding performance in yesterday’s Novice Stakes at Kempton Park for trainer Ralph Beckett and owners Palmont, breaking slowly, running green and passing the whole field to earn a Timeform rating of 81p.

Out of a half-sister to the Group 1 winning Champion European two-year-old colt TOORMORE as well as the multiple Group 2 winner ESTIDKHAAR, CHARLIE’S CANNON first went through the ring as a yearling at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale where he was knocked down to Alex Elliott for 110,000 guineas from Redpender Stud.
