The Richard Hannon-trained EQTIRAAN won the Anders Foundation EBF Stallions Crocker Bulteel Maiden at Ascot winning a £25,000 October ‘Book 1 Bonus, which along with the prizemoney of £12,450 earned his connections £37,450. The son of first-season sire HELMET was purchased for 250,000 guineas by Shadwell Estates’ Angus Gold from the draft of Oaks Farm Stables at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale. He is the thirteenth winner of the £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus. This year’s sale takes place on October 4 – 6.
