13 May 2016 Share on X Share on Facebook Kilmah Wins Book 1 Bonus and Pockets £37,028 Kilmah Winning at Newmarket The Mark Johnston-trained KILMAH became the second horse to take out a £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus when running out a ready winner on debut at Newmarket. The daughter of SEPOY earned her owner Abdulla Al Mansoori a £25,000 Book 1 Bonus, a £7,500 Plus 10 Bonus and £4,528 in prizemoney for a total of £37,028. KILMAH was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for 32,000 guineas from Jamie Railton. Assistant trainer Charlie Johnston commented; “We always thought the £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus scheme provided a great opportunity to win significant prizemoney, and this has been illustrated perfectly by Kilmah’s victory which earned her owners more than her purchase price.”
