Mordred Wins 111th £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus

The Richard Hannon-trained MORDRED became the 111th winner of a £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus when taking out the EBF Novice Stakes at Chester. His victory earned connection £38,351 with the £25,000 Book 1 Bonus being added to a £7,500 Plus 10 Bonus and prize money of £5,851.

MORDRED was purchased at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock for 175,000 guineas from Lynn Lodge Stud on behalf of owner Martin Hughes.

The £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus is only for graduates of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. This year’s sale takes place from October 9 – 11.
