Nayef Road Wins 100th £25,000 Book 1 Bonus and Earns £39,616

The Mark Johnston-trained NAYEF ROAD became the 100th winner of a Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus following his victory in the Smarkets EBF Novice Race at Haydock. The well-bred son of GALILEO out of Listed winning DANEHILL DANCER mare ROSE BONHEUR earned a total of £39,616 for his owner Mohamed Obaida, made up of £7,116 in prize money, £7,500 from the Plus 10 Bonus as well as £25,000 from the Book 1 Bonus.

Oaks Farm Stables consigned NAYEF ROAD at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale where he was purchased by Rabbah Bloodstock for 100,000 guineas. The Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus is only for graduates of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. This year’s sale takes place from October 9 – 11.
