10 Sep 2026 Share on X Share on Facebook Regally Bred Raybiya to be Offered in Sceptre Sessions at Tattersalls December Mares SaleRayif wins the Group 1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains at Longchamp RacecourseThe regally bred mare RAYBIYA, the half-sister to this year’s French 2,000 Guineas winner RAYIF, is set to be offered at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale, which will take place from Monday 30th November to Thursday 3rd December. The winning daughter of ALMANZOR will be consigned by The Castlebridge Consignment and will be offered in the Sceptre Sessions, which showcases the finest fillies and mares in Europe. She will be offered in foal to STARMAN, last year’s champion first-season sire in Britain and Ireland. RAYBIYA hails from a typically deep family fostered by The Aga Khan over several decades. She is out of the HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR mare RAYISA, who was placed twice at Listed level. She has produced the classic winner RAYIF, who has won the Group 1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains and the Group 1 Prix Jacques Le Marois this year, as well as placing in the Group 1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardére as a two-year-old. The son of SEA THE MOON holds an entry in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on British Champions Day.RAYBIYA is also a half-sister to RAYEVKA, the daughter of BLUE POINT who was placed twice at Group 1 level including second in the King Charles III Stakes to MISSION CENTRAL at Royal Ascot this year, and third in the Commonwealth Cup last year at the same meeting.
