The John Gosden-trained SAMHARRY won the Saint Gobain Weber Maiden Stakes at Doncaster on his first start yesterday and earned £37,028, made of up a £25,000 October ‘Book 1 Bonus’, a Plus 10 bonus of £7,500 and prizemoney of £4,528. In victory, he became the twelfth winner of the £25,000 Tattersalls ‘Book 1 Bonus’. SAMHARRY was bought at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for 600,000 guineas by Shadwell Estates from Peter and Michelle Morgan’s Carmel Stud. Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale takes place October 4 – 6, 2016.
