Secret Brief Heads Runners For The £200,000 Tattersalls Millions 3yo Trophy

The 2014/15 £1.3 million Tattersalls Millions, Europe’s most valuable sales race series, concludes this Thursday, 16 April, at The Craven Meeting, Newmarket, with the £200,000 Tattersalls Millions 3YO Trophy. A total of nine have been declared for the one mile two furlong contest, headed by the £500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy winner Secret Brief for trainer Charlie Appleby. 

Other notable runners include the Listed placed James Tate trained Groor, Azmaam who was fourth in the £500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy and the Andrew Balding trained Rocky Rider who was impressive when winning last time out and holds an entry in the Investec Derby. 

Andrew Balding, commented; “His last win was only a handicap and this is a step up in class but he is in great form and hopefully a return to turf will be good for him and he can be very competitive.” 

Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, featuring the only yearlings eligible for next year’s £1.3 million Tattersalls Millions series, takes place from 6 – 8 October.
