Shadwell Yearlings to Sell at Tattersalls December Yearling Sale
The catalogue for the 2021 Tattersalls December Yearling Sale is out now and can be viewed at www.tattersalls.com. Numbering 200 lots, the December Yearling Sale will take place on Monday, 22nd November.
Shadwell Estates will offer a high-quality consignment of eighteen yearlings by sires including FRANKEL, INVINCIBLE SPIRIT, LE HAVRE, LOPE DE VEGA, OASIS DREAM, NIGHT OF THUNDER, SEA THE STARS, SHAMARDAL and TEOFILO. Highlights among the draft include a SHAMARDAL colt out of the Group 3 winner and Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest runner up THAWAANY, herself a half-sister to St Leger winner KEW GARDENS, an INVINCIBLE SPIRIT filly out of Group 3 City of York Stakes winner TALAAYEB from the exceptional family of HEIGHT OF FASHION and a FRANKEL filly out of the Group 3 winner FARMAH.
The INVINCIBLE SPIRIT own sister to dual Group 1 winner SHALAA and the SEA THE STARS own brother to Irish and Yorkshire Oaks winner SEA OF CLASS look to be amongst the other highlights of the catalogue, in addition to an INVINCIBLE SPIRIT half-brother to Group 1 winner ZELZAL and a KINGMAN half-sister to this year’s Group 1 Phoenix Stakes runner up DR ZEMPF.
In total the catalogue features own or half brothers and sisters to 41 Group and Listed winners, and 25 yearlings out of Group and Listed winning dams headed by the GALILEO colt out of the Group 2 winner LAUGH OUT LOUD.
Buyers looking for future winners of valuable Tattersalls bonuses and sponsored races will not be short of choice with 6 yearlings eligible for the lucrative £20,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus Scheme and a further 16 yearlings eligible for the £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes, including 4 additionally eligible for the £100,000 Tattersalls Somerville Auction Stakes. The catalogue also features 38 fillies already entered for the Great British Bonus and two lots qualified for French Owners’ Premiums.
