Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale graduates enjoyed a wonderful weekend with a Group 1 victory in Australia, a Group 2 in Great Britain and two Group 3 wins in Italy.

First up was the win of ZAAKI, who demolished the Group 1 Doomben Cup field when running out a seven-length winner for trainer Annabel Neasham. Following on from his last start victory in the Group 2 A D Hollindale Stakes, connections of the son of LEROIDESANIMAUX now have the Group 1 Cox Plate as their long-term aim.

ZAAKI was purchased at the 2020 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale by Blandford Bloodstock’s Stuart Boman in conjunction with Annabel Neasham Racing for 150,000 guineas.

Next up was ROHAAN, taking Group 2 honours in the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock Park. Bought at last year’s Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale by Martin Wanless and trainer David Evans for just 20,000 guineas, the MAYSON colt is now one of the leading three-year-old sprinters in Britain thanks to success in the Group 3 Pavilion Stakes at Ascot before landing Saturday’s Sandy Lane.

Sunday saw a brace of Group 3 races at Capannelle in Italy go the way of Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale purchases. BAPTISM, who was victorious in the Premio Carlo d'Alessio, was bought by agent Marco Botti for 68,000 guineas from the Castlebridge Consignment, whilst the Premio Tudini winner COLLINSBAY was a 50,000 guineas purchase by agent Federico Barberini.
