Tattersalls Appoints Ben Chan as South East Asia Representative

Tattersalls, Europe’s leading bloodstock auctioneers, has appointed Ben Chan as the Tattersalls representative for South East Asia.

Chan’s role will be focused primarily on promoting Tattersalls sales in Hong Kong, but will also encompass both Macau and Singapore.  Chan, who recently moved to Newmarket from Hong Kong, is a well known and respected figure in Hong Kong racing having worked for the Hong Kong Jockey Club for nineteen years as a TV reporter and analyst on the raceday broadcasts televised live from both Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses. In addition to his raceday role in Hong Kong, Chan also covered international race meetings in Dubai, Japan and Singapore on behalf of the Hong Kong Jockey Club and is currently a contributor to the Chinese language Hong Kong racing publication Hong Kong Daily News.  

Commenting on his appointment, Ben Chan said;
