Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Purchase Senorita Bonita Wins Group 1 Prix Morny

Senorita Bonita wins the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville Racecourse

The Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale graduate SENORITA BONITA produced an emphatic performance to win the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville, firmly establishing herself as one of the leading fillies of her generation.

The Simon and Ed Crisford-trained, Victorious Forever-owned daughter of STARSPANGLEDBANNER made it three wins from four starts, following her victory in the Group 2 Duchess of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket’s July Meeting. On that occasion, she defeated fellow Craven Breeze Up graduate LIBERTANGO, who subsequently won the Group 2 Lowther Stakes at York this week.

The two fillies are now set to renew their rivalry in the Group 1 Tattersalls Sceptre Sessions Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.

SENORITA BONITA was purchased for 900,000 guineas at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale by Anthony Stroud of Stroud Coleman Bloodstock from the draft of Egmont Stud. She becomes the third Group 1 winner to emerge from the sale in 2026, following the Belmont Derby winner TITLE ROLE and the Grosser Dallmayr-Preis winner HOTAZHELL.
