The catalogue for the Tattersalls Summer Sale, formerly the Tattersalls Ascot July Sale, which takes place on Tuesday 18th July at Park Paddocks in Newmarket, is now online and can viewed at www.tattersalls.com. Numbering 120 lots, the sale comprises 37 fillies & mares in/out of training, 55 colts & geldings in/out of training, 4 broodmares, 4 point-to-pointers and 15 store horses.

 

The Tattersalls Summer Sale has been well supported with entries from Bedford House Stables, East Everleigh Stables, Jamie Railton, John Ryan Racing, Ladyswood Farm, Mickley Stud, Shade Oak Stud, Somerville Lodge, The Castlebridge Consignment and Weathercock House Stables.

 

Amongst the highlights of the horses to have run on the flat, William Haggas’ Somerville Lodge will offer LAAFI, a CLOTH OF STARS three-year-old colt boasting a Timeform rating of 98 having won and placed fourth in the Listed Lingfield Derby Trial in just four starts. Also catalogued is GLORY SKY, a three-year-old daughter of COTAI GLORY consigned by Richard Hannon’s East Everleigh Stables who was last seen winning a Kempton Novice Stakes on just her third start, and ABU ROYAL, a winning three-year-old colt by DARK ANGEL rated 86 by Timeform having who has only raced four times for trainer Charlie Johnston.

 

National Hunt horses in training are also amongst the catalogued lots, including Ben Pauling Racing’s THE GREY FALCO, an eight-year-old son of FALCO who was last seen winning easily over hurdles at Southwell, as well as COOLNAUGH HAZE, a five-year-old son of LAWMAN from Philip Hobbs and Johnson White’s Sandhill Racing Stables who is a multiple winner over hurdles.

 

The four point-to-pointers includes the four-year-old BLACK OCC, a son of OCOVANGO who finished second on debut in a Ballingarry Maiden and will be consigned by Matty Flynn O’Connor’s Ballycrystal Stables. 

 

A total of 15 store horses have been catalogued and the sires represented include BLUE BRESIL, DARTMOUTH, SCORPION, TELESCOPE, ULYSSES and WINGS OF EAGLES.

 

Tattersalls Live Internet Bidding will be available for those who are unable to attend the sale in person and prospective purchasers are requested to register with Tattersalls at least 48 hours prior to the start of sale.
