In addition to the exciting WHITE MARLIN, three further wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls February Sale, which takes place from Thursday 3rd – Friday 4th February.

Catalogued as lot 375B, the Michael Bell trained DAIRERIN has an official rating of 93 and ran with admirable consistency in his six starts at two, winning twice and runner-up on two further occasions before finishing the season with a respectable run in the Group 3 Prix de Cabourg in Deauville. The three-year-old ran an encouraging race to be third under top-weight on his seasonal reappearance and will be offered by Bell’s Fitzroy House.

Brian Meehan’s Manton Lodge Stables will consign two wildcard lots headed by the exciting ACRION, a winner of his most recent start over six furlongs at Lingfield. The twice-raced son of DANDY MAN is a full-brother to the Group 3 winning sprinter EXTORTIONIST, who also placed in the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes and was runner-up in the Group 2 King George Stakes. The four-year-old earned a Timeform rating of 70p for his win and will be offered as lot 375D.

ACRION will be joined by his stablemate CITY RUNNER, also an impressive winner of his most recent start at Southwell for which the progressive three-year-old received a Timeform rating of 84. The CARAVAGGIO colt is catalogued as lot 375C.

The Tattersalls February Sale numbers 490 lots with high class consignments from many of the world’s leading owner/breeders including Godolphin, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell Estates, who have 132 lots catalogued between them. The catalogue can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com and is available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives.
